Kuraray EVAL™ EVOH is the world’s original ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer resin, developed and mass-produced by Japan Kuraray in 1972, holding the leading global market share of high-barrier EVOH materials.

This virgin resin delivers ultra-high oxygen & carbon dioxide barrier performance, far superior to PA, PE and PVDC. It features excellent aroma retention, outstanding oil & solvent resistance, high transparency and food-contact safety complying with FDA & EU standards.

Special retort-grade grades maintain stable barrier properties after high-temperature sterilization, ideal for retort food pouches, sauce bottles, meat & dairy packaging. It supports multi-layer co-extrusion, blow molding and lamination processes.
