FR102 3F China Suspension PTFE Resin industrial applications pellet granular Polytetrafluoroethylene

FR102 is a free flow grade of PTFE granular powder, can be applied to sheets, rods and other processed products.

China 3f FR102: Suitable for general industrial applications, such as lubricants, seals, etc., with relatively conventional performance requirements.


Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is mainly divided into two categories:

1)Virgin Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE):

Features: It has excellent high temperature resistance (stable up to approximately 260°C), outstanding corrosion resistance (stable against most chemicals), extremely low friction coefficient (smooth surface, used as a lubricant), excellent electrical insulation properties, and non-stick properties (resistant to adhering other substances).


2)Modified Polytetrafluoroethylene:

Features: By altering the structure of PTFE or adding specific fillers such as glass fiber or carbon fiber, its performance can be improved. Modified PTFE may exhibit higher mechanical strength, better wear resistance, and lower friction coefficients, meeting the requirements of specific engineering applications.

Overall, PTFE is widely used in lubrication, sealing, electrical insulation, and chemical piping due to its outstanding properties of high temperature resistance, chemical inertness, and non-stick characteristics.


PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) comes in three main varieties: suspension resin, dispersion resin, and concentrated dispersion.

Each has distinct characteristics and applications:

1)Suspension Resin:

Characteristics: Suspension resin refers to PTFE particles suspended in water or other solvents. This form is commonly used in the manufacturing of coatings and lubricants because it can be applied via spray or immersion, forming coatings with non-stick and high temperature-resistant properties.

 

2)Dispersion Resin:

Characteristics: Dispersion resin involves PTFE particles uniformly dispersed in solvents or water, creating a dispersed system. It is often used in the production of lubricants, anti-stick agents, and special coatings. Its characteristics include ease of blending with other chemicals and suitability for various industrial and consumer applications.

 

3)Concentrated Dispersion:

Characteristics: Concentrated dispersion refers to high concentration PTFE particle dispersions in solvents. This form is typically used in the preparation of high-performance coatings, composite materials, and specialized processes. It offers higher PTFE content, enhancing specific properties of the final products such as wear resistance, high temperature resistance, and chemical stability.


Overall, these three forms of PTFE resin play crucial roles in different applications. By adjusting the dispersion state of PTFE particles and solvent systems, specific functional requirements can be met.


Suspension polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) resin is primarily divided into two types:

1)Unfilled Suspension PTFE Resin:

Characteristics: This type of suspension resin consists of pure PTFE particles suspended in water or solvents. It exhibits excellent non-stick and high temperature-resistant properties, making it suitable as a raw material for coatings, lubricants, etc. It can form corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant protective layers.


2)Filled Suspension PTFE Resin:

Characteristics: This type of suspension resin incorporates specific fillers such as glass fiber or carbon fiber into PTFE to enhance its mechanical properties and suitability for specific engineering applications. Filled suspension resin can provide higher strength, better wear resistance, and lower friction coefficients, commonly used in high-performance coatings, sealing materials, etc.


These two types of suspension PTFE resin, by adjusting the morphology of PTFE particles and adding fillers, meet various requirements in different application scenarios. They are widely used in industrial coatings, high-temperature lubricants, sealing materials, and other fields.

1)Particle Suspension Resin and Dispersion Resin: These are dispersed systems where PTFE particles are uniformly distributed in solvents or water. The particles are typically small, resembling tiny PTFE particles suspended in a medium.

2)PTFE Powder: Often used in the preparation of compression molded products such as fillers, seals, and can also be added to lubricants or directly used for special coatings.



Characteristics:

1)Particle Suspension Resin: Exhibits good dispersibility and coating properties, suitable for applications in coatings and lubricants, offering excellent non-stick and high temperature-resistant performance.

2)PTFE Powder: Typically employed in scenarios requiring the formation of molded products through processes like hot pressing, characterized by higher physical strength and wear resistance.
