EVAL™ resin is a Ethylene-Vinyl Alcohol Copolymerl, and it is a high gas barrier material.

EVAL™ resin, with its excellent gas barrier performance, can provide outstanding gas barrier properties even in small quantities when used in multilayer structures. Single-layer films made from EVAL™ EVOH can be combined with other films. EVAL™ resin exhibits exceptional barrier properties, effectively preventing the permeation of gases, odors, and organic solvents in plastic flexible packaging and containers. It finds wide applications in the food, pharmaceutical, and personal care industries. By incorporating EVAL™ resin as a barrier layer in packaging materials, it enables lightweight and transparent packaging solutions, replacing traditional metal and glass products.

Due to its remarkable gas barrier and organic solvent resistance, EVAL™ resin is extensively utilized in automotive fuel systems, including fuel tanks, fuel lines, and oil conduits. Additionally, it has wide applications in pipe materials and geosynthetic membranes.
